It is an important time of the year, and I think it’s important to wear your Poppy with pride.
I decided to crochet these little poppies as a show of respect and remembrance. Its a very simple pattern, one in which I hope you enjoy making and feel proud to wear.

Red and black yarn. Any yarn you want to use should work!
The hook that your chosen yarn requires.

Safety pin. (Or whatever you would like to use to attach the Poppy to your clothes)

dc – double crochet
htr- half treble
tr – treble

Poppy Pattern
Red Petals of the Poppy
Begin with a magic circle

Darn all the ends in.
Black Polkadot Centre
Round 1: Chain 4, ss into first chain, ch1
Round 2: 12dc into the middle, ss into first st, fasten off (you should now have a teeny little black polkadot!)
Using the yarn ends of the polka dot, sew the polkadot to the red part of the poppy. (Make sure it looks nice and neat at the back!)
Now, to wear the poppy, I simply attached a safety pin to the back. You can use whatever you’d like to attach your poppy.
In theory you should now have a lovely little crochet poppy!
Remember, make a donation and wear your Poppy with pride!
