Hello fellow crafters! I know it has been such a long time since I have given any attention to this little blog. However, unlike all my other hiatuses, I do actually have a reason! I have been pregnant and have given birth since my last post! I think that counts as a good reason for a break from here! However, whilst the little love is sleeping, I decided to quickly check in on here.
Now, whilst I was pregnant, I had such a long list of all the projects that I wanted to do, especially baby related makes, but for whatever reason I completely lost my crojo! The only baby projects I managed before the birth was a simple, cute little waffle stitch blanket and an elephant comforter from Toft. I must admit, it felt quite emotional making those projects for our little baby. I really enjoyed making the below elephant comforter, it worked up quite quickly and I think the end result is absolutely adorable!
Now the baby is here, I have an even bigger list of crochet projects that I want to complete. I’ve got about 15 outstanding Aldi crochet kits, that will all make lovely toys for when the baby is old enough. (So I’ve got a while to complete those!) And I’ve got a big bag of baby yarn that I want to make a nice winter blanket for the baby (little less time on that one!) I also have a fair amount of Toft kits hidden away somewhere! Including the very lovely Toft Advent Calendar 2021. I’m hoping that I will get round to this at some point, maybe it can be my advent calendar this year. After all, I believe I only made it to day two! Basically, I do not need any more yarn or crochet related items for a long time!
I am not sure where I am going to find the time to squeeze in all of these projects, but I will do my best to make some lovely bits for the baby.
Anyways, I am sure little love will be waking up any moment!
